To get started, you can choose between a one-year program, through which you earn a certificate of completion in surgical technology, or you can take a two-year course to earn an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree. Both options are offered at various surgical technologist schools in Arizona, and they are designed to allow you to get complete training in as little time possible.
