A variety of online and campus-based programs award certificates (graduate and undergraduate) and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in project management. A limited number of programs also offer doctorates in IT project management and general project management. Project management programs tend to be within schools of business administration, but there are exceptions.
Many certificate and degree programs prepare students for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification conferred by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
