Although your income will vary based on the degree you earned, LPNs can expect to make between $33,000 and $40,000, and the majority of RNs make between $54,000 and $63,000. Speaking Spanish may give you an extra boost to these numbers, and because there is a nursing shortage in Florida, you will be likely to be able to negotiate a hiring bonus.

If sun and fun is your thing, then Florida nursing schools are a good fit for you. Orlando is located in the middle of the state, and is home to Walt Disney World Resort, as well as numerous other tourist attractions. Miami, at the very bottom of the state, offers a Cuban flavor, and is a great place for those who enjoy the sun and beach.
