New England Institute of Technology Engineering Programs


 

The New England Institute of Technology is a private, non-profit technical college in Warwick, Rhode Island. The school teaches analytical skills and hands-on learning to prepare students for in-demand technology careers. New England Tech is committed to preparing students today for the careers of tomorrow.

Classes start four times a year: January, March, July, and December. Engineering programs offer bachelor’s and associate’s degrees. Students can complete associate degree programs in as little as eighteen months and bachelor’s degree programs in as little as three years.

Class Formats
Day, evening, and online classes provide educational flexibility. Online programs can be taken synchronously or asynchronously. Online and classroom programs include lectures, labs, and discussions. Some programs include externships, in which students gain real-world experience in their fields by working with actual companies.

Coursework
Many of the information technology and engineering courses prepare students to take internationally recognized certification exams in their fields of study. Labs and optional field trips enhance the classroom experience.

Bachelor’s degree programs include liberal arts electives in physics, calculus, writing, statistics, ethics, the global economy, and other courses.  Students learn effective oral and written communication as well as critical thinking. Many courses include theory, labs, and optional field trips. World-class laboratories and equipment help teach practical skills.

Associate’s degree courses provide fundamentals, while bachelor’s program allow students to delve deeper into their subjects.
