There are many different types of engineering careers to choose from. The one thing they all have in common is that they require a degree. Therefore, the first step in becoming an engineering is to find an accredited engineering school and gain your degree. Request free information from the engineering schools below and start on the path to a career in engineering.

An engineer is a professional who develops solutions to technical problems using science and math. Engineering has over 25 specialties, including aerospace, agricultural, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, and nuclear engineering, to name a few.

Almost all engineering jobs require a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a college or university that is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Graduates with degrees in mathematics or physical science may, however, qualify for some engineering jobs. Engineering students usually choose a major area of concentration. Bachelor’s degrees in engineering take four, or sometimes five, years to complete.
